Thomas Magro started Magro’s Processing, Inc. in Auburn, IL, in 1993, with the goal of establishing a local meat company that provided high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Thomas’ son Tony, took over the business in 2003 and has continued his father’s legacy of offering high-quality, locally-sourced cuts of meat at an affordable price.
We custom butcher beef, buffalo, deer, elk, goats, hogs, and lambs for retail or wholesale customers in the Auburn, Chatham, Girard, Jacksonville, Pawnee, Springfield, Taylorville, Virden, and Waverly areas.
Our products are rated USDA Prime, and we’re fully inspected by the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
